"After asking for service at the other harley dealer in the reno, carson city area i was denied service, it was not only because my chopper simply was not A completely stock bike with no modifications at all. I was told the staff was not supposed to work on or knowlegable enough or trained enough to work on my west coast chopper. I was also told they were afraid to work on a motorcycle that was modified at all for safety reasons. I showed up at carson city harley davidson with a new open primary belt I wanted installed, some new wrapping on the pipes, adjustments on the baker tranny and hydraulic clutch work. The service writer was immediately happy and cheerful and just seemed to look me in the eye and careful to listen to my concerns. He said no problemo we will handle it all, just then the service manager Maya walked up shook my hand and said wheres the patient with a big smile. I took him to the trailer he snapped his fingers and 3 employees were promptly unloading the chopper and stated we take on custom jobs all the time routinely.He educated me on the 100 horsepower club and carson HD was proud to be the leader in this area on producing the most efficient and powerful bikes on nevadas highways. Mike happened to be the Tech tearing into my completely custom 171 horsepower limited production s&s 145 super stock tribute engine west coast chopper. He discovered the engine had internal compression releases. He stated I will hook them up properly ran the wires through the frame, (SWEET) installed the 3 3/8 open primary belt made some modifications in the primary, tweeked the tranny, adjusted and modified the clutch plates rewrapped the pipes with insulated wrapping installed a new tube up in the front tire, now the compression releases are functioning properly. This staff is more than qualified to service any bike in this facility. With complete machine shop and professional dyno tuning, so dont waste your time or hard earned money anywhere else. Also these are local people who donate to the community and care about it too. Now with the tranny all dialed in along with the clutch my chop is now doing a hell of a nice burn out, and one f***k of a wheelie thats what i told them i was trying to accomplish and they delivered every bit of it. The entire staff cared about my goal and more importantly it was there major concern from the minute i walked in. The new and used motorcycle selection is unbelievable, this place is huge they even store bikes in a climate controlled atmosphere. Mindblowing i tell ya absolutely mindblowing this is not a poser harley dealership this is the real deal what a MC shop is supposed to be from stock to wild custom CC HD is off the chain ROCK STEADY,,, HORSETOOTH FROM SPARKS"

"I participated in the HOG 2009 Pony Express Ride. One of our riders experienced bike troubles from Salt Lake to Carson City. Carson City was hosting a party for the PX riders. Due to our delay we arrived at the dealership at 8:50 p.m. It was closing time but Maya let us in to make our purchases. We were truly grateful for their kindness and understanding after our long day. We missed the party, but we certainly didn't miss the service. That gesture of staying open a few minutes longer so we could get our souvineers spoke volumes for the kind of dealership this is. "Wow! Carson Harley stands true to their word!! After taking my Springer in for service 1 1/2 yrs ago, an unknowing tech overtightened my spokes which detrued my rims! The young man at the counter was not accepting my explanation that something had gone wrong in the service dept. Maya the Manager was called in and concluded I was correct. I was not happy with the overall treatment until the manager offered to true my rims. I trued the rims myself but didn't have the equipment to get it exactly right. I decided, after buying a new tire and twisted spokes, to take my bike to CCHD to lace and true my rim and to mount my new tire. Maya made good on his word. I know a lot of riders and will continue to push them to CCHD. I have sent buyers to Nabel in sales and he also has taken good care of my referrals. Thanks CCHD for doing what is right especially in this tight economy. Good Job Maya and Nabel!!"

"We had a oil change in Colorado Springs Co. at a private shop. They over filled the case, and oil blew out the entire trip to Carson City. Needless to say, no back brakes, entire back of the bike was coated in oil.
Pulled into the Service area at Carson City Harley. We were met by Maya Keller, he said pull it in and they would wash the bike. OH at no charge. When do you hear that from a Dealership? Did a excellent job on the wash. They even pulled some oil out. Bought a passing lamp while there and the counter help was awesome. Best experience from a Harley Dealership yet!!!

"I had been thinking about getting a new bike for quite some time. I went in to my doctor's office and somehow got to talking about bikes with my nurse. She was very knowledgeable as I found out. She was engaged to one of the sales guys down there and told me he would help me with making the right choice on a bike for me and my needs.
I had gone to Reno Harley a few times to look and they had very cocky adittudes and were more about trying to sell me something that cost more then caring about my needs! I just wanted to say thank you to Gunny, I got what I wanted and was helped with the things I needed for comfort. "I have a custom built bike and had some issues with the engine, I tried getting work done in Reno and basically no one was competent, or confident enough to do or even try to do the work, I called Carson HD I spoke with MAYA, he said bring it down. He said politely calm down and told me dont worry about it. His Service Dept, tweaked the engine and it's been running like a scalded dog ever since. That was 5 years ago, now no body touches my chopper except Carson City HD. Period! I never get a runaround or any excuses, especially from the Parts Dept. "After having a very disappointing experience at the "other" Harley dealership in the area I stopped in at Carson with the intent of purchasing a bike.At the time the staff did not know I wanted to buy a bike but welcomed me and immediately got me some assistance. All the sales staff was busy but Megan (my new best friend!)stepped up to the plate from her normal responsibilites as office manager to help me. Along with an assist from Dustin I got the bike of my dreams, an '07 Heritage Deluxe! This is my first Harley.

"I purchased my bike in CA. (2007 FLHRSE3) With the new laws in Calif. a dealer could not change the pipes on my new bike to something louder. My wife has an FXLR with Samson pipes and I could not hear mine when riding with her. We are in the process of relocating to Carson City. Own a home here and are familiar with Carson Harley. So I came in to see what they could do. The parts department and service departments had suggestions. But the great thing is we walked into the service department and started up bikes with the pipes I was looking at so I could hear them! They installed the Rinehart true duals and also installed a race tuner. I joined the "100" horsepower club, thanks to the service department! (104 hp 119 tq) Great going guys. I have traveled all over the Western United States on a Harley and have had oportunities to use Dealer Service Departments. Carson Harley is as good as they get!! Better than most."

"Thanks much for helping us with our bike Sept. 24, 2006. We had a flat tire near Gyger & Whitehall. Your truck picked us up, we want to thank "Jerry" the driver. He was most courteous and efficent. George "Service Consultant" was exceptionally helpful, he arranged for our bike to be taken care of quickly (also helped us when our bike fell over at the Mt. Rose stop light). The other person that we especially wish to thank is the service technician " Paul R." for staying after hours to complete the repairs on our bike.
